Townhouse enters luxury spa market as beauty brands deepen hospitality presence
Luxury nail salon brand Townhouse will open at Champneys Tring on 6 August, marking its first move into the luxury spa category and the first Townhouse location within the Champneys estate.
The franchise partnership will bring Townhouse’s signature nail services to the Hertfordshire resort, placing its design-led salon model alongside Champneys’ established wellness offering.
Laura Sheridan, Group Spa Director at Champneys, said: “We are delighted to welcome Townhouse to Champneys Tring .
"This partnership not only brings a beautiful new experience for our guests and members but also marks the first time we have welcomed the local community to enjoy a standalone treatment at Champneys.”
Jonathan Millet, CEO of Townhouse, said the salon would complement the wellness experiences already available at the resort. The collaboration gives Townhouse access to a hospitality setting where beauty services form part of a longer guest journey.
Beauty brands move deeper into hospitality
The Townhouse launch follows a series of other hotel and spa partnerships announced during 2026, spanning treatment menus, product distribution and branded wellness spaces.

Kama Ayurveda has opened a six-treatment-room destination at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere, offering five 60-minute Ayurvedic rituals priced between £190 and £200. Its presence includes a permanent boutique carrying 32 skincare and haircare products, connecting professional treatments with retail. The menu also features a Kalari Massage created exclusively for the Cheshire property.
In London, The Dorchester Spa appointed La Prairie as its spa partner in June. The collaboration introduced personalised facials and the exclusive 1931 The Dorchester Skin Caviar Ritual, priced at £600 for 90 minutes. The treatment combines a back massage using British marble stones with La Prairie’s Skin Caviar facial.
Vicky Harper, Global Retail Training & Spa Director, told TheIndustry.beauty: "Created in tribute to the shared heritage of La Prairie and The Dorchester whose origins begin in 1931, the 1931 The Dorchester Skin Caviar Ritual ’90 minute facial is an exclusive ritual embodying timeless luxury.
"The experience begins with a deeply relaxing back massage using British marble stones, inspired by the architectural elegance of The Dorchester. Slow, grounding movements release tension and invite the body into a state of profound calm. The journey continues with La Prairie’s iconic Skin Caviar Facial, combining advanced lifting and firming formulations with sculpting massage techniques to redefine contours, restore elasticity and reveal exceptional radiance."

London skincare brand 111Skin has also entered its first hotel partnership in Morocco at Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort. Four facials are now available at the resort’s five-star spa. The protocols combine the brand’s formulas with techniques influenced by aesthetic medicine.
Other partnerships are opening hospitality channels to younger and more specialist brands. Clinical SPF business SunsolveMD entered the luxury hotel market through Asaya Spa at The Chancery Rosewood London, where its complete mineral sun care range is stocked.

Meanwhile, Skin Rocks launched its first Scottish luxury spa collaboration at Fairmont St Andrews. The agreement centres on a bespoke 50-minute facial, supported by product and treatment education for therapists and front-of-house employees.
Townhouse’s Champneys Tring opening brings professional nail services into this expanding category while giving Champneys a standalone treatment offering capable of attracting both resort guests and nearby customers.
Hospitality expansion also extends beyond spa menus. Floral Street recently entered the global hotel sector through Groupe GM, creating an amenities collection based on its Electric Rhubarb fragrance and supplied through refillable dispensers.
This follows the established approach of operators including Elemis, ESPA, Cowshed and Bamford, whose hotel models integrate branded spa concepts, signature treatment protocols, guest-room amenities and retail experiences to extend their brand presence.
