TRESemmé teams up with The Devil Wears Prada 2 for exclusive partnership
TRESemmé has partnered with upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2 as its "signature haircare brand", aligning its salon-inspired positioning with the fashion-focused franchise.
The collaboration is marked by the release of a special edition of TRESemmé’s Heat Defence Care & Protect Spray, inspired by the film. The product features a heat-activated formulation designed to help reduce breakage over time while maintaining shine and smoothness.
The partnership draws on the cultural legacy of the original The Devil Wears Prada, which became known for its portrayal of fashion, ambition and workplace dynamics. In the film series, styling - including hair - plays a visible role in shaping character identity and visual storytelling.
Jocelyn Hsieh, Head of Marketing at TRESemmé (Unilever Beauty & Wellbeing UKI & EU), said the collaboration reflects shared themes between the brand and the film, particularly around personal presentation and confidence.
"In The Devil Wears Prada universe, hair isn’t just styled - it’s an intentional part of the narrative. Each characters’ signature look fuels their on-screen presence. The limited-edition product will be available across the UK from 2 April, ahead of the film’s global cinema release.
The sequel, set to be released on 1 May 2026, sees the return of principal cast members including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. The story revisits the world of Runway magazine and the fashion industry in New York City nearly two decades after the original film’s debut.
