U Beauty, the beauty brand that is all about simplicity over excess, has teamed up with the social media siren, Tinx, on a  limited-edition shade of its best-selling PLASMA Lip Compound.

The brand was founded by Tina Chen Craig, a multihyphenate entrepreneur who pioneered influencer marketing, so a partnership with millennial-loved influencer Tinx is fitting.

Christina “Tinx” Najjar, who boasts 1.5 million followers on social media, teamed up with Craig to drop the “Rom Com” rosy pink shade of the brand's ultra-popular Plasma Lip Compound.

According to Tinx, “It truly is an all day-into-night colour. I either wear it on its own in the morning or if I’m going out, I’ll put a liner on. It’s very versatile. It just looks good on everybody, and it’s obviously so hydrating at the same time.”

Inspired by Tinx’s romantic (mis)adventures, a lifelong affinity for romantic comedies, and her admitted obsession with having juicy-soft lips, Rom Com is the perfect universally flattering pink that’s kind of girly but not too sweet.

Tinx, also known as ‘TikTok’s older sister’, said: “I wanted to make a colour that makes you want to make out with someone. A colour that just looks good on everybody—like your lips but better.”

“I've loved U Beauty since I was first introduced to the brand a couple of years ago. Everything just works as it says it does, and that is so rare these days. I love how all the products work together and how I can just trust they’re going to deliver. It was an honour to collaborate on my favourite product, The PLASMA.”

U Beauty's tagline is ‘skincare simplified’. In essence, the brand replaces drawers and shelves of excess products, with those that are singular and strategic. Its unique selling point is its Enter proprietary Siren Capsule Technology. This means every formula features its patent-pending Siren Capsules, which are engineered to interact with the skin as if they are actual skin molecules to ensure no irritation is caused when using U Beauty products.

The brand is currently available in the UK at Fenwick, Harrods, Cult Beauty and Selfridges.
