Vichy collaborates with menopause organisation GenM on new range
Vichy Laboratories has announced the launch of its new range in collaboration with menopause organisation, GenM. The brand is one of 30 founding partners to help educate, support and inspire the global menopause community in the GenM campaign.
Developed with dermatologists, gynaecologists and endocrinologists, the Vichy Laboratories Neovadiol range aims to meet the needs of women during the perimenopause and menopause.
Sarah Atkins, Vichy Laboratories Marketing Director, said: "There are 15.5 million perimenopausal and menopausal people throughout the UK and it’s abundantly clear that change needs to happen. We’re excited to support GenM’s mission to tackle taboos and raise awareness of the way menopause symptoms impact lives."
The campaign was inspired by a GenM study, which revealed that 97% of menopausal women believe brands should work harder to cater for them.
GenM emphasises the importance of normalising and amplifying the conversation around the menopause. The campaign calls for collective action, by utilising a voice for change, better representing the menopause in future products, services, campaigns and workplace policies.
Sam Simister, Co-Founder of GenM, said: "It’s great to see so many people starting to champion the menopause right now and effecting change from the workplace to the media to the GP surgery. The menopause affects every aspect of life – it’s not just a medical issue or a workplace issue. Brands and organisations have a part to play in this too.”
