Vichy Laboratoires is building on the global success of its Minéral 89 Booster hyaluronic serum with the introduction of the complementary Minéral 89 72H Moisture Boosting Cream, which delivers the same daily dose of minerals, pure hyaluronic acid, vitamins and squalane to the skin.

The cream was developed on the back of demand from consumers and dermatologists and is designed to support and repair the skin barrier while locking in hydration for up to 72 hours for all skin types.

Ingredients will act on three different layers in the skin and include 0.1% hyaluronic acid, 1% squalane, 7.3mg millions of mineral molecules and 2.2% vitamins B3 and E. It comes in three different light-weight gel-cream formulations Hero, Rich and Fragrance Free.

In clinical trials it was proven to hydrate the skin by 60%, lock in moisture for up to 72 hours, improve firmness and repair the skin barrier up to 60% faster than an untreated site.

Vichy Consultant Dermatologist Dr Mary Sommerlad described it as an "excellent daily moisturiser for all skin types". "The combination of hyaluronic acid and squalane, an efficacious emollient, draws moisture into the skin for long-lasting hydration, as well as strengthening the skin barrier,” she said.

Made from 92% natural ingredients, the cream can be used in partnership with the Minéral 89 Booster and the Minéral 89 Eye Cream. It is priced at £22 and is available now from Boots.
