Work on a new £1.25m spa, set to open its doors in Snowdonia in spring 2021, is entering its final phase.

Located in the Conwy Valley, the 650 sq m Wave Garden Spa has been designed to meet the growing demand for treatments, products and services that enhance wellness and showcases Snowdonia’s natural resources and landscapes.

A wide range of skin, body and beauty services will be offered from five treatment rooms in partnership with the marine-based Thalgo brand and local Welsh brand Tribe517, which offers a range of products using locally sourced, premium grade, natural ingredients.

Inside the spa visitors will be taken on a “a fragrant thermal journey,” via a vitality waterfall pool, steam room and oversized Himalayan salt sauna – all of which have views out across the mountains, forests and the world’s first inland surf lagoon.

The Wave Garden Spa will also offer guests a complete immersion in the steam-based cleansing and purifying rituals of a traditional Hammam.

The outside areas of the spa will feature a hydrotherapy pool, relaxation pods and a traditional wooden barrel sauna.

Announcing the opening of the Wave Garden Spa, director Danni Hitchen said: “2020 has highlighted how important wellness is to us all, so along with the facilities we’ve incorporated some incredible therapies and treatments including our hammam experience which will be a real treat for our guests.

“We can’t wait to welcome our first guests in March next year.”
