Warpaint London annual sales rise thanks to 'strong' Q4 trading

Warpaint London expects its financial performance for the year ending 31 December 2023 to be ahead of market expectations.

The owner of W7 and Technic had previously anticipated annual sales to reach at least £85million, compared to £64.1 million in 2022.

However, following "strong trading" in Q4 2023, the company now forecasts annual sales of approximately £89.5 million.

It also expects to achieve profit-before-tax of at least £18 million, compared to £7.7 million the previous year.

Warpaint London credits its better-than-expected results to the fourth quarter, which covers the key Christmas trading period.

The company sells cosmetics under its W7 and Technic brands.

W7 is sold in the UK primarily to retailers and internationally to local distributors or retail chains. Meanwhile, Technic is sold in the UK and continental Europe with a focus on the gifting market, principally for high street retailers and supermarkets.

Warpaint London said it will release its full trading update for the year ending 31 December 2023 in April 2024.
