Warpaint, the cosmetics company that owns W7 and Technic brands, has reported a "strong trading performance" for the year ending 31 December 2024.

Revenue reached approximately approximately £102 million, compared to £89.6 million in 2023, and profit before tax totalled approximately £24 million, compared to £18.1 million in 2023.

The positive trading has continued into 2025. Last month, Warpaint’s revenue was 15% higher than in January 2024.

Sam Bazini, CEO of Warpaint, said: "I am pleased with the Group’s performance in 2024 and the strong start to 2025, despite ongoing consumer spending headwinds. It was also pleasing that improved margins were maintained throughout the year.

"We expect to see continued growth across the group in 2025 and we look forward to completing the acquisition of Brand Architekts later this month and integrating the business into the Group."

In December 2024, the cosmetics company reached an agreement to acquire competitor Brand Architekts, owner of Skin & Tan (previously known as Skinny Tan) and Super Facialist, to name a few.

Brand Architekts said it had reached an agreement on the terms and conditions of a recommended cash offer to be made by Warpaint. Under the terms of the acquisition, each shareholder would receive 48p per share.

The deal values Brand Architekts at £13.88 million and represented a premium of around 100% to the closing price of its shares on 4 December.

At the time, Bazini told TheIndustry.beauty: "The proposed acquisition of Brand Architekts provides an attractive strategic opportunity to supplement our ongoing international organic growth by integrating Brand Architekts' highly complementary brands into Warpaint's portfolio and leveraging the enhanced range of brands across a wider number of customer relationships."
