Skincare brand Weleda has announced its first-ever UK television campaign to promote the brand's hero Skin Food collection.

Promoting Weleda’s range during "Skin Food September", the collection features viola tricolor, calendula and chamomile to help moisturise skin.

Shot using CGI to communicate the efficacy of Weleda’s organic ingredients, the campaign will air across the ITV Central, Meridian and Granada regions from 5 September to 16 October 2022, reaching an estimated audience of nearly eight million people.

The advert will be complimented by digital advertising and a social media campaign to reach an additional three million consumers during September and October. The campaign also includes a new Instagram filter that conjures up Skin Food’s botanical ingredients like "potent pixie dust".

Further print advertising will also join consumer sampling during British Beauty Week from 5-11 September and London Fashion Week from 16-20 September.

Helen Yeardsley, Weleda UK’s Head of Brand, said: “We are proud to be able to bring our iconic and much-loved Weleda Skin Food to screens this autumn, for the very first time, with such a powerful commercial. It’s an exciting opportunity for all our stockists to get involved. We can’t wait to see our hero range flourish."

Weleda is a multinational beauty cosmetic, skincare and medicine retailer founded in 1921. The company offers a wide variety of beauty cosmetics and an extensive range of skin products.
