Westman Atelier's General Manager for the EMEA region, Anna Marcovici, will be stepping down from her role at the US-based luxury beauty brand at the end of summer to focus on her own brand Manifesto Nutrition.

Marcovici confirmed her departure in a post on LinkedIn, describing a "mix of emotions" at leaving a position that she has held for the last 6.5 years.

"It's been such an incredibly rewarding journey. Working with the founders Gucci and David as well as, of course, the incredibly talented global Westman Atelier team has undoubtedly been the highlight of my career, and one I will cherish forever," she added.

Following her departure from Westman, Marcovici is returning her attention to scaling Manifesto Nutrition, the beauty supplements business she founded in 2019, which specialises in science-backed vitamin gummies that support women through perimenopause, menopause and beyond.

She will also continue running Impact Beauty Group, another business she founded in 2018 that mentors beauty brands.

Prior to launching those businesses, Marcovici led the British "facial fitness" brand FaceGym, serving as its CEO from 2018-2019. Before this, she was General Manager at NARS UK and Ireland from 2016 to 2017, and held a number of senior leadership positions at Estée Lauder, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Clinique and L'Oréal.

Westman Atelier has not announced a replacement for Marcovici so far.

Westman Atelier was founded by make-up artist Gucci Westman in 2018. It operates a UK website and is stocked at retailers including Cult Beauty, Space NK, Liberty London and Oh My Cream.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the brand had landed $15 million (£11 million) in fresh funding from investors.

Existing investors include Prelude Growth Partners, a venture capital firm that has previously backed fragrance brand Phlur and skincare label Tower 28.
