Young to spend less on fashion in fresh blow to the high street

Millennials are planning to put the brakes on their fashion spending for the first time since the recession, a potentially worrying sign for the fast-fashion retailers that have been boosted by the spending power of the Instagram generation.
More than a quarter of 18 to 24-year-olds, 28%, said that they would reduce their spending on clothing, shoes and accessories rather than any other category, according to a poll of 2,000 shoppers seen by The Daily Telegraph.
