The Global President of Armani Beauty, Véronique Gautier, has stepped down after more than 13 years in the role.

Gautier joined the L'Oréal-owned brand in 2010 from Jean Paul Gaultier, where she served as Chair and President for two years.

With over 40 years of experience in the beauty and luxury goods industries, she also previously held senior roles at Hermès, Cartier, Chanel Beauty, and Paco Rabanne at Puig.

"I feel privileged to have driven such iconic brands and talented people in executive functions in the luxury business, and today I am looking forward to this exciting chapter ahead, saying Sì to new beginnings. Ready to give back, mentor, and invest in this industry that I treasure," said Gautier in a post on LinkedIn.

She paid tribute to the brand's eponymous founder, Giorgio Armani, whom she said had been a "privilege" to work with.

"Taking Armani Beauty to new heights over the past decade has been an experience like no other. Giorgio Armani is simply a legend, and working with him has been a gift.

"Together, we drove growth and innovation to design a sustainable, global beauty powerhouse."

Gautier went on to thank the brand's fashion team and beauty ambassadors, as well as her colleagues at L’Oréal.

She also referenced Armani Beauty's community of perfumers, naming Carlos Benaim, Alberto Morilllas, Pascal Gaurin, Fabrice Pellegrin and Julie Massé, amongst others, in her LinkedIn post.
