The British Beauty Council has announced the line-up for British Beauty Week 2022, featuring over 60 events nationwide to celebrate the "power of beauty".

Running from 5-11 September 2022, the British Beauty Council describes this year's event as the "most inclusive and accessible yet".

British Beauty Week will see beauty businesses from across the country coming together to host workshops, shopping events, panel discussions and webinars.

Beauty consumers will be able to connect with leading industry players, including Boots and Superdrug, along with independent disruptors such as Juni Cosmetics, Arkive Headcare and By Sarah London.

The immersive events span fragrance, skincare, organic beauty and nail art to provide key beauty touchpoints for people of all ages. The seven-day event also aims to educate and inspire its talent from across the UK to think about beauty in new ways and grow their community.

The British Beauty Week highlights include:

  • Meta’s Beyond Beauty: The Power of Video.
  • The STEM Ambassador Summit.
  • Space NK X British Beauty Week.
  • Exclusive Dermalogica X HydraFacial consultations.
  • The importance of head care, hosted by Arkive and Adam Reed.
  • An olfactory journey with Diptyque.
  • The Power of Makeup with Lan Nguyen-Grealis.
  • Understanding the conscious consumer with the Sustainable Beauty Coalition.

Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council, said: “Beauty is powerful and is a remarkable way to connect with yourself and your community. We want businesses and consumers to celebrate the Power of Beauty in all its forms.”

Since its inception three years ago, the British Beauty Council has championed the beauty industry, providing guidance and support to hundreds of thousands of workers, which includes winning an extra £500 million of government-backed support during the pandemic.

In 2022, one of the council’s key focuses is to use its positive influence to affect change and cultivate industry investment. British Beauty Week will be one of a series of positive-impact activations the council will be supporting this year to spotlight the value and power of beauty at a government level.
