Matrix founder hands over company to Co-CEOs

Matrix, best known for co-creating the Soho Skin line with Soho House, has been helmed by Charlie Bradshaw since its inception 28 years ago. Yesterday, the boss announced that he is handing over the reins to Co-CEOs Harry Zalk and Jon Yates.

Charlie Bradshaw founded the company to develop meaningful brands and products "that go above and beyond" in the beauty and wellness space.

The company creates products for client partners including British Airways, Space NK, Primark, Emirates, Aromatherapy Associates, The White Company, Bamford, Cathay Pacific, Kmart Australia, Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines.

Matrix also co-founded and operated brands including ARKIVE Headcare with renowned stylist Adam Reed, Cultured Biomecare with skincare trailblazer Rob Calcraft and Soho Skin with private members club Soho House & Co.

Bradshaw took to LinkedIn to explain his plans to enter "a new role as Founder, paving the way for the next phase of our company's growth and innovation... It, therefore, gives me great pleasure to announce that effective 1st Jan 2024, Harry Zalk and Jon Yates have been promoted to Co-CEO."

Harry has led the commercial teams at Matrix for 13 years and Jon Yates joined Matrix 18 months ago as Operations Director.

Bradshaw concluded: "I'm filled with optimism and enthusiasm for what lies ahead, and I can't wait to see all that Matrix will achieve in the years to come."
