Susanne Kaufmann unveils brand refresh to champion sustainability
Susanne Kaufmann has unveiled a brand refresh featuring new product packaging and formulas, produced with a sustainability focus.
The refresh aims to ensure that the brand's environmentally responsible philosophy surpasses the materials used, to extend to the manufacturing processes, how energy is used and the impact this has on the planet.
Susanne Kaufmann will now source local ingredients from nearby regions in Austria and Switzerland, reducing its carbon footprint by closing the distance between its ingredient sources and production facility.
The beauty brand's packaging has also undergone a sustainable refresh, with new "contemporary designs" made from recycled and recyclable jars, bottles and cardboard. The company has also unveiled new refillable packaging, which can reduce greenhouse emissions by 55%.
The Susanne Kaufmann rebrand will also see some some of its products and collection names refreshed.
Jessica U Clark, CEO of Susanne Kaufmann, said: "We are incredibly proud of the sustainable updates the team has made to our brand and we are excited to share these with our customers. For a short while, our customers may see a mixture of our existing and new packaging in-store. We have consciously taken this approach to prevent the unnecessary waste that a hard swap would create. I am pleased that our retail partners have also embraced this approach. Our much-loved skin and body product remain just as our customers remember them."
