Feelunique's Co-Founder Aaron Chatterly has stepped away from the brand after 17 years, with Sephora now developing the company into a "go-to destination for beauty in the UK".

In a LinkedIn post on Wednesday evening, Chatterly confirmed his departure from Feelunique and said he will be leaving it in the "incredible hands of Sephora".

Chatterley founded Feelunique with Richard Schiessl in 2005. Since its launch, the brand has grown to become a leading beauty ecommerce platform in the UK, offering its 1.3 million active customers over 35,000 makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance and electrical products from over 800 brands.

The announcement follows Sephora's acquisition of the online beauty retailer for £132 million in September 2021.

At the time of the acquisition, Sephora's President and CEO Martin Brok, said: "Feelunique is known for its unparalleled customer experience, deep ecommerce expertise and knowledge of the UK consumer. We look forward to learn from each other and write a new chapter together."

Brok is no longer President and CEO of Sephora, having just stepped down after two years in the role. His replacement has not yet been announced.

While Sephora's exact plans for Feelunique have not been outlined, Sephora will develop its digital presence in the UK.

Aaron Chatterly, Co-founder of Feelunique, said: "I am incredibly proud of what we and the team have achieved over the last 17 years and super happy that the company will now become a part of the world's premier beauty retailer."
