Estée Lauder Companies names Executive Vice President of online

The Estée Lauder Companies has announced the promotion of Gibu Thomas to Executive Vice President of ELC Online.

Thomas previously served as President of online and will continue to report to Fabrizio Freda, President and CEO at ELC.

Thomas joined ELC in November 2020 from PepsiCo, where he served as SVP and Global Head of Ecommerce for five years. Prior to this, he was SVP, Mobile and Digital at Walmart.

Fabrizio Freda, President and CEO at ELC, said: “Gibu’s promotion to Executive Vice President recognises his exceptional leadership of ELC Online since joining in November 2020, including driving successful initiatives across e-commerce, technology infrastructure, digital media, mobile and omnichannel."

This news follows the recent appointment of Karen Housman as SVP and General Manager of Travel Retail APAC at Estée Lauder Companies.
