Huda Beauty translates Easy Bake Powder into a fragrance at request of fans

Huda Beauty has released a new fragrance inspired by its best-selling Easy Bake Setting Powder at the request of the brand's fans.

The Eau de Parfum, priced at £57, is a powdery floral fragrance with top notes of juicy pear, with creamy white florals and a tuberose infusion at its heart, and a base of vanilla, sugared amber, and Dreamwood® (sandalwood).

Huda Beauty founder Huda Kattan said the launch had come at the request of the brand's customers, who had asked for her to bottle the fragrance of the cult setting powders.

At the same time, Huda has launched a fragrance-free version of the powders (£34), which come in the same seven shades as the original formula. Key to the success of the cult favourite power is a filtered finish, with ultra-refined pigments and weightless texture, which blends with any prior product to keep make-up in place.

Speaking of the latest addition to the Huda Beauty line-up, Kattan said: "For so long, I've been asked to make the iconic powdery, floral fragrance from our O.G. Easy Bake Powder into a perfume. So, I did! I took the fragrance out of our cult-fave Easy Bake Loose Setting Powder, creating a fragrance-free version, and bottled the scent into an eau de parfum. I'm obsessed with baking and the power of perfume, so now when I spray my Easy Bake EDP, it's the final touch that gives me that flawless finish."

This is the first new launch to be announced by Huda Beauty since Kattan revealed she was re-taking the reins of the business as CEO, saying her decision to hand the leadership role of her business over in 2020 was one of her greatest regrets. Her return heralds a brand revamp, which will be unveiled later this year.
