Wellness brand Lyma Life is among the first ever recipients of The King’s Awards for Enterprise, celebrating the achievements of UK businesses.

148 UK businesses have been recognised this year by His Majesty The King for their "outstanding achievement" in Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development, or Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility).

Lyma Life, which designs and manufactures medical grade supplements and laser technology, has been recognised under the International Trade category. Other notable winners include Fever-Tree, Naturaw Pet Food, ACS Clothing Limited, and Moo Free.

Founded in 2018, Lyma Life was inspired by founder Lucy Goff's own health struggles with septicaemia, after the birth of her daughter in 2012. The brand first launched with The Lyma Supplement and later introduced The Lyma Laser, which it describes as the "world's most powerful at-home beauty device".

Kevin Hollinrake, Minister for Enterprise, said: "I congratulate the first ever recipients of The King’s Awards for Enterprise, who exemplify the talent, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit of British business. I wish them every success and commend the invaluable contributions they make to communities both at home and overseas, helping to grow the UK economy."

The King’s Awards for Enterprise was previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise. The new name reflects His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of Queen Elizabeth II by recognising outstanding UK businesses.

The award programme, now in its 57th year, has awarded over 7,000 companies since its inception in 1965. Applications for The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2024 open on Coronation Day, 6 May 2023.
