Kylie Cosmetics reveals intergalactic-inspired fragrance, Cosmic

Kylie Jenner's eponymous beauty brand is launching its debut fragrance, Cosmic, later this week.

The brand first created a name for itself when it launched into the cosmetics scene in 2015 with a host of sell-out 'lip kits'. Now, the fully formed colour cosmetics line is launching into fragrance.

The debut fragrance, described as "from another world", is a sweet, warm and floral scent that is "perfect for day-to-night wear".

The campaign fittingly sees Jenner's alien-like being formed by pink droplets, later adorned in pink-hued flora and fauna. The video was shot and creatively directed by multi-disciplinary artist Cho Si-Goek.

"It has been years of love into this fragrance and many, many rounds to create the perfect signature scent. Cosmic is truly out of this world and I can’t wait to share it with you all," Jenner said.

As for the olfactory experience, think opening notes of star jasmine and blood orange met with a heart of golden amber accord and red peony accord. The base is layered with vanilla musk accord and cedarwood. All notes are captured in a sculptural bottle that is designed to "fit perfectly in the palm of your hand".

Cosmic will be available from 7 March, in three sizes ranging from 30ml to 100ml, as well as travel size with refill options.
