Medik8 achieves B Corp certification
Premium skincare brand Medik8 has achieved B Corp certification, following eight months of verification and implementation of new processes and practices.
Administered by nonprofit B Lab, B Corp is a certification that covers over 300 questions on governance, workers, communities and impact on the environment.
Medik8 joins the B Corp movement of over 7,816 companies globally and 2,367 companies in the UK. It is also one of 66 beauty businesses worldwide to achieve the certification, including The Inkey List, Elemis and Aesop.
In its assessment, Medik8 achieved an overall score of 89.9. To qualify as a B Corp, businesses must score 80 or over.
Founded in 2009, Medik8 is a dedicated to producing science-based skincare products with the best ingredients at the right strengths. Its bestsellers include vitamin C and Retinol lines.
