Caroline Larissey, National Hair & Beauty Foundation’s (NHBF) Director of Quality and Standards, has been recognised in the first-ever Women in Trade Associations Powerlist.

The Powerlist was created by the Trade Associations Federation (TAF), Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), to celebrate inspirational women in trade.

It aims to champion the role of women working in trade and celebrate their achievements. With over 200 nominations and 100 spaces on the list, there is no surprise to see Caroline Larrisey's name.

Larrisey has worked her way through the ranks over the past 35 years, from a salon junior to a business owner. She subsequently moved into the role of Further Education Lecturer, progressing on to a Director of Training and Education.

She has held the titles of National Diploma Project Lead and Head of Standards and Qualifications at Habia (2006), Skills Active group (2013) and the Director of Quality and Standards at the National Hair and Beauty Federation (NHBF) in 2018.

In her current role with the NHBF, Caroline acts as a conduit between Government and the industry. She is instrumental within the sector and strives to be the driving force behind development of standards, quality, and guidance to support the value and recognition of the sector.
