Hungarian skincare brand Omorovicza is inviting Claridge’s Spa visitors to embark on a journey from Hungary’s Lake Hévíz to Mayfair, London. Here, spa-goers will experience the brand's mineral-charged elixirs from the waters of Budapest.

For thousands of years, people have travelled from far and wide to bathe in the mineral-rich thermal waters of Budapest to help soothe, repair and protect skin. Since 1862, Omorovicza has been distilling these waters to optimise skin health.

This month, the Hungarian skincare arrived at the iconic London hotel. Alongside the launch of a range of facials, body and massage treatments, Omorovicza is introducing a new signature treatment experience, exclusive to Claridge’s.

The new treatment, which is £390 for two hours, is designed to rejuvenate and detoxify the skin. It includes a traditional Hungarian body massage, inspired by the graceful movements of the ballet while using Hungarian Moor Mud sourced from the largest thermal lake in Europe.

Beneath the surface of this lake lies a thick layer of mineral-charged mud which powers every product within Omorovicza’s Moor Mud Collection. It features the brand’s patented Healing Concentrate, which is clinically proven to significantly improve skin hydration, elasticity and firmness within seven days.

The treatment will be performed in The Pink Room at Claridge’s Spa, a new space taking inspiration from The Painter’s Room bar located within the hotel. This treatment room features a heated pink onyx bed and a built-in shower.

Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza, said: "Our partnership with Claridge’s Spa is a perfect blend of luxury and innovation. Claridge’s dedication to excellence and The Pink Room align seamlessly with our brand’s aesthetic and provide an ideal setting for our mineral-rich treatments. Personally, I am so excited to be bringing our brand to Claridge’s, as I have loved the hotel and its spa facilities for years."

Hattie David-Wilkinson, Director of Spa at Claridge’s, added: "We are honoured to have created a unique ritualistic experience with Omorovicza, inspired by centuries of Hungarian bathing tradition. Not only are we delighted to be working with Margaret and Stephen de Heinrich (two long-standing friends of Claridge’s), but the synergy between the design of The Pink Room and The Omorovicza Mayfair Institute, inspired by the Rac in Budapest, means that this partnership feels particularly special and serendipitous."
