British beauty group Revolution Beauty has appointed Erin Cast as President of North America to support its growth in the US.

The group said Cast's appointment underlines the significance of North America to Revolution Beauty’s growth ambitions.

Based in New York, Cast will build upon the group’s foundations within the US and Canada. She brings over 25 years of experience across sales, marketing, general management and board roles in beauty, food and beverage, and omnichannel retail.

Her most recent role was as General Manager, Royal Canin at Mars. Prior to this, she served as CMO of Global Consumer Beauty at Coty, leading the turnaround of Cover Girl and accelerating growth for Sally Hansen.

Cast also spent a decade at L’Oréal consumer beauty, based in New York, with a focus on cosmetics and skincare.

Lauren Brindley, CEO of Revolution Beauty, said: "North America is a priority market for Revolution Beauty. We have established partnerships with many of the leading beauty retailers but are still a new brand with major headroom for expansion.

"Erin’s deep US and global beauty experience across sales, marketing, and general management roles, makes her the ideal leader to revolutionise growth in the region."

The news comes as Revolution Beauty continues to reshape its leadership team, including the recent appointment of Neil Catto as Chief Financial Officer - effective from 1 January 2024.

It also follows the appointment of Lauren Brindley as CEO earlier this year. She replaced Bob Holt, who announced his departure from the business as part of a settlement agreement with Boohoo.
