Soap & Glory, renowned for its sweet-smelling body lotions and potions, has appointed Gemma Peace as its first-ever makeup artist ambassador to revitalise its cosmetics portfolio.

Peace is a makeup artist with over a decade of experience. She has cultivated 123k followers on Instagram, thanks to her inspiring and accessible tutorial content.

The partnership kicks off with the launch of Soap & Glory’s 'Big Pink Energy' makeup look, the first of a series of head-turning looks.

Created in collaboration with trend forecaster WGSN, Big Pink Energy is influenced by the Soft Siren trend - think soft pastel pinks, siren winged eyes and high gloss lips.

Gemma Peace said: "I couldn’t be more excited and grateful to be joining Soap & Glory as their first-ever makeup artist ambassador. Soap & Glory is known for bringing together fun, joy and indulgence to elevate your everyday beauty routine and it’s no different with their cosmetic range.

"As someone who loves working with all types of finishes on the skin and creating different makeup styles, the Big Pink Energy look is the perfect way to transform your vibe."

Yasmine Persaud, Global Head of Cosmetics at Soap & Glory, added:  "Makeup is truly having a moment, and more people are finding more joy in spending an extra five minutes in their day to pop on a bit of satin smooth lipstick or velvet soft blush to give themselves a mood boost. We’re excited to give our customers what they’ve been asking for – everyday go-to colour cosmetics in gorgeous shades, that enhance their best features….putting a spring back in their step!"

The brand, best known for its plumping lip gloss and esteemed eyebrow pencils, has also introduced six new products, which are available in-store and online at Boots now. These include Spectacu-Lips pH Lip & Cheek Oil (£12.99), Thick & Fast Tubing Mascara (£11.99), Love at First Blush Glow Blusher (£11.99 ), Solar Powder Bronzer (£11.99), Kick Into Neutral Velvet Eyeshadow Palette (£14.99) and Fabu-Lipstick Satin Lipstick (£10.99).

Interestingly, Soap & Glory's owner No7 Beauty Company also appointed a makeup artist ambassador to No7 in January. Nic Chapman took the helm to "bring the brand's new makeup looks to life and provide inspiration and practical tips for women who want to rediscover the joy of makeup". With both these appointments, Boots is garnering more attention towards its impressive cosmetics line-up.
