Space NK has signed a 10-year lease for a new store at Manchester Arndale Shopping Centre, strengthening the destination's beauty offer.

The new store will be a flagship for the city centre and include a range of "innovative features" seen across the retailer's other major UK stores.

It will also offer a range of best-selling products across skincare, haircare, makeup, bodycare and fragrance, from brands including Drunk Elephant, NARS, Rare Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury and Diptyque.

Located on the upper floor of New Cannon Street, the space will be adjacent to Hollister, Apple, The North Face, Nike and River Island.

It will also join a number of existing beauty brands and retailers at Manchester Arndale, including Boots, Superdrug, Morphe, Lush, Rituals, Kiko Milano and The Perfume Shop, amongst others.

Steve Gray, Head of European Retail Asset Management at Global Mutual, said: "Space NK is a great addition to Manchester Arndale and further enhances our beauty range, making us the go-to place in the North West for all the best cosmetic brands.

"2023 was a great year, and we look forward to an even better 2024 as we welcome further occupiers over the next few months."

Manchester Arndale saw footfall increase 6.3% with over 46 million visitors during 2023, as occupancy grew to over 95%.

Asset managers Global Mutual and M&G are now in talks with several retailers over the remaining space at the centre, as it looks to offer a "diverse range of retail, leisure, and eateries to help attract visitors from the North West and beyond".
