The Inkey List enters colour cosmetics with three plumping lip tints
The Inkey List has launched three new lip tints, marking the first time the British skincare brand has entered colour cosmetics since its launch more than five years ago.
Described as a non-sticky alternative to lip gloss, the Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm Tints promise to hydrate, repair, and plump lips, leaving them naturally fuller with a hint of colour.
They follow the launch of The Inkey List's first-ever lip product last year, the original, clear Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm.
Formulated for maximum fullness and lip care, the balm works to maintain the skin barrier and retain moisture to improve overall lip health while visibly enhancing lip volume.
It combines "lip-loving" active ingredients with the brand's research-powered knowledge to create a nourishing balm that delivers the lip plumping power in a "good-for-lips" way.
Colette Laxton, Co-founder of The Inkey List, said: "Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm took the world by storm last year – selling so quickly we couldn’t keep it on the shelves. It was (and still is) the hottest non-irritating lip plumper around.
"The love for this product was unreal and I am so excited to take it to the next level with our new tinted balms."
Formulated with the same plumping power as the original balm, the new Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm Tints are available in three sheer shades — berry, pink and mocha — and are clinically proven to plump lips by up to 40% in four weeks.
What's in the formula?
- 6% Tripeptide Complex to visibly increase lip volume over time for plumper-looking, more defined lips.
- 2% Ultra Filling Spheres delivers hyaluronic acid to attract water within the lip and swell for smoother, hydrated, plump-looking lips.
- 2% Chia Seed Oil rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 for hydration and easy absorption.
- 3% Squalane to nourish, hydrate and protect skin.
- 6% Capacau Butter to provide long-lasting skin repair and protection benefits to even the most sensitive of lips.
- 3% Mango Butter for natural moisturising to restore suppleness and smoothness with reparative properties.
Founded by Colette Laxton and Mark Curry in 2018, The Inkey List was created to help democratise skincare through knowledge, simplify the product INCI list, and offer high performance skincare at an affordable price.
Last month, the brand launched into the new category of bodycare. It unveiled two new products, powered by chemical exfoliation, to tackle a number of body skin concerns.
Priced at £11, the Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm Tints are now available online at The Inkey List.
