The Perfume Shop hosts star-studded Chirstmas showcase
The Perfume Shop, the UK’s largest fragrance-only retailer, today held its ‘Merry Spritzmas’ Christmas Showcase at the Nomad Hotel, hosted by broadcaster and TV presenter Laura Whitmore.
Laura Whitmore, along with The Perfume Shop’s Sales and Operations Director, Nikki Bates. hosted an expert panel session. Both hosts discussed all things fragrances, including their favourite perfumes, The Perfume Shop’s predictions for Christmas, best-sellers and the best gift sets to purchase this festive season.
Whitmore reminisced about her fragrance journey, commenting: "Everyone wanted CK one when I was younger, it brings back so many memories if I smell it now. I also was obsessed with Britney Spears' Curious.
"I tend to wear a different fragrance for special occasions, the perfume I wore on my wedding day was Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc Eau de Toilette. My husband didn’t have a scent, but I got him Tom Ford Ombre Leather Eau de Parfum... There’s nothing like going into a store to smell fragrances. There’s always something so personal about gifting someone a fragrance, especially at Christmas time."
The showcase also featured a fragrance bar, where guests could create their signature scent, as well as an interactive giant snow globe. Finally, to truly immerse the audience in a winter wonderland, there was a bauble-making station and gift-wrapping workshop.

It was great to hear all about how much of a perfume fanatic she really is and what she typically tends to wear during the festive season.
