UpCircle launches crowdfunding to champion growth
Ethical skincare brand UpCircle has launched a new crowdfunding campaign with investment platform Crowdcube.
The funding will be used to boost UpCircle's growth, increase its product range and expand the brand's reach.
UpCircle emphasised that investors will become shareholders in the company and can earn a return if the share value grows over time. The brand is also offering investors a range of exclusive rewards.
The opportunity first opened with priority access, where 95% of its £300,000 target was met before becoming available to the public two days ago. The campaign currently has 867 investors.
The share price starts from £1.62 and the company is valued at £18 million. UpCircle is encouraging interested parties to sign up for a Crowdcube account to invest.
Founded by siblings Anna and Will Brightman, UpCircle brings leftover natural ingredients back to life as skincare products. The brand's waste-fighting formulations are natural, vegan, cruelty-free, palm oil-free, plastic negative, handmade and housed in recyclable and refillable packaging.
