To commemorate World Bath Bomb Day on 27 April 2022, Lush will be giving away 100,000 bath bombs across its UK stores.

Shoppers can head to their nearest Lush store to receive a bath bomb to take home while stocks last. Lush staff will help customers navigate its selection of bath bombs available in-store to find the one most suitable for their "me-moment".

Alongside the giveaway, Lush customers will also have the opportunity to book a Lush bathing experience. This will be available at the brand's spa locations in Bath, Oxford Street and Liverpool.

Lush was first awarded the trademark for bath bombs after being invented by Lush Co-founder, Mo Constantine in 1989. The term "bath bomb" is now so widely adopted it has been added to the Oxford Dictionary. Although the trademark has since expired, Lush is known around the world for its range of bath bombs and skincare products.

The news follows the launch of Lush's bath bomb making tour, which is currently making its way across the brand's UK stores.
