The Inkey List unveils first-ever lip product

The Inkey List has entered the lip care category for the first time, launching a brand-new Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm.

Formulated for maximum fullness and lip care, the product works to maintain the skin barrier and retain moisture to improve overall lip health whilst visibly enhancing lip volume.

It combines "lip-loving" active ingredients with the brand's research-powered knowledge to create a nourishing balm that delivers the lip plumping power in a "good-for-lips" way.

What's in the formula?

  • 6% Tripeptide Complex to visibly increase lip volume over time for plumper-looking, more defined lips.
  • 2% Ultra Filling Spheres delivers hyaluronic acid to attract water within the lip and swell for smoother, hydrated, plump-looking lips.

  • 2% Chia Seed Oil rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 for hydration and easy absorbtion.
  • 3% Squalane to nourish, hydrate and protect skin.
  • 6% Capacau Butter to provide long-lasting skin repair and protection benefits to even the most sensitive of lips.
  • 3% Mango Butter for natural moisturising to restore suppleness and smoothness with reparative properties.

The clear balm leaves a natural sheen on the lips, which can be worn alone or over lip colour for a "smooth, glossy finish".

For best results, the product should be used on clean, dry lips to maximise delivery of the active ingredients and reapplied at least three times per day.

Colette Laxton, Co-Founder of The Inkey List, said: "We all want plump, healthy, and juicy lips without compromise so, we formulated our Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm to hydrate, maintain the skin barrier and boost fullness without the infamous tingle. It’s actually clinically-proven to visibly plump lips within two weeks."

Founded by Colette Laxton and Mark Curry in 2018, The Inkey List was created to help democratise skincare through knowledge, simplify the product INCI list and offer high performance skincare at an affordable price.

The new launch marks the latest innovation for The Inkey List, following the launch of its "game changing" Polyglutamic Acid Dewy Sunscreen SPF 30 in March.

Last year, the brand also introduced its SuperSolutions. Consisting of four clinically-proven and accessible skincare products, the range was created to target "more challenging" skin concerns.
