This week's beauty launches include an eleven-piece skincare range from Aromatherapy Associates, Q&A's skincare-infused bodycare collection, Tangle Teezer's plant-based brush, and a plumping face primer from Project Cosmetics.

Tangle Teezer

Tangle Teezer updates classic brush with plant-based materials

Tangle Teezer has redesigned its Original brush using 85% sustainably sourced, plant-based materials.

Designed with the brand's patented two-tiered teeth technology, the new Plant Brush promises the same high performance as its previous range. It is available in four different colourways: Marshmallow Pink, Earthy Purple, Sunny Orange and Deep Sea Blue.

85% of the Plant Brush is made from sustainably grown and harvested castor beans, which are transformed into an innovative bio-plastic. This process reduces dependence on fossil fuels as a source of raw materials, opting instead for renewable energy sources.

Priced at £17, the Plant Brushes are available at Tangle Teezer, Boots and Lookfantastic.

The collection includes "everything needed for a full skincare routine", including a Nourishing Cleansing Balm, Hydration Boost Mist, Radiance Boost Serum, Pro Barrier Boost Face Oil, Hydrating Gel Mask, Oil to Foam Cleaner, Intensive Rich Cream, Resurfacing Exfoliator, Pro Glow Face Oil, Hydra Plump Gel Cream and Pro Calm Face Oil.

Priced from £35 to £65, the skincare range is available at Aromatherapy Associates.

Project Cosmetics

Project Cosmetics expands into skincare with new plumping primer

British beauty brand Project Cosmetics has entered the skincare market, launching a new category called Project Face.

The Project Fix Plumping Face Primer combines hyaluronic acid and matrixyl 3000 with natural mushroom tremella and ginseng to create a makeup skincare hybrid that "lifts, fills and plumps" skin.

It also contains a new trademarked ingredient, Volufiline. Clinically-proven and extracted from Asian botanical roots, Volufiline is commonly used in the aesthetics industry.

Priced at £22, the Project Fix Plumping Face Primer is available at Project Cosmetics.
