Hairstory reshuffles senior leadership to focus on growth

Hairstory has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of Sales and Design Director as it looks drive growth and brand awareness. 

The new appointments will allow Hairstory to capitalise on the growing consumer interest around cleaner products, simplified beauty routines, and environmentally friendly practices.

The brand hopes to build awareness across both consumers and the independent hairstylist community.

To achieve this, Harley Butler has been appointed as CEO. He brings over 20 years experience working for consumer and SaaS companies, including Target, Adobe, Prezi, Cisco and Flip Video.

After serving as CEO from 2015-2022, Co-Founder Eli Halliwell will continue his involvement with the brand as Executive Chairman.

In this role, Halliwell will oversee the management of the Hairstory Board, including its investors and advisors, and take an active advisory role in the business's day-to-day operations with a "heavy focus" on its environmental impact and sustainability.

Other appointments include former Creed Senior Vice President Dina Rosenbloom as Chief Marketing Officer, and former Olaplex Vice President Larissa Rhodes as Vice President of Sales.

In addition, Stephanie Savidge has been appointed as Design Director, bringing over a decade of experience in luxury beauty with companies such L'Oréal LUXE Division and Unilever Prestige.
