Maybelline introduces first virtual makeup for Microsoft Teams

Maybelline has launched its first-ever virtual makeup looks, created with Microsoft to offer consumes a "new way to get ready for video calls".

The Maybelline Beauty App in Microsoft Teams allows users to adjust their personal style within a Teams meeting.

Users can choose from 12 makeup looks, encouraging greater self-confidence as well as the opportunity to try out different makeup styles.

Trisha Ayyagari, Global Brand President at Maybelline, said: "Maybelline's mission is to give everyone self-confidence to express their beauty.

"That's why we partnered with Microsoft Teams to develop virtual makeup looks – now even on the busiest day, you can put makeup on with just a click. We hope we make people's lives a little easier."

The news coincides with Maybelline's partnership with Ditch The Label to help make online mental health support "more accessible than ever".

As part of this, Maybelline will fund over 17,500 hours of one-to-one help, providing online support every hour of the day for the next two years via Ditch the Label’s safe space community forum.
