Monday Haircare, one of TikTok's most followed haircare labels, has completed a multi-million pound investment in a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Zhongshan, Southern China.

The opening of Zuru Edge's Beauty manufacturing facility forms part of Monday Haircare's commitment to becoming a "global leader" within the beauty space.

Executed by a team of over 35 experts, this new facility is compliant with the highest global quality standards and has end-to-end manufacturing capabilities, including both production of packaging and finished products.

Phase one of the facility opening covers 27,000 sq m, with plans to double its size to over 50,000 sq m in the next two years. The new space will enable the production of 100,000,000 recyclable Monday bottles per year.

The brand is currently on track to reach a milestone of $200 million (£161 million) retail sales in 2023. Disrupting the beauty space, Monday launched in the US in March and is now stocked in 26 countries with over 70 retailers globally, including Amazon, Costco, ASOS, Tesco and Boots.

What’s more, the brand has become the most-followed and most-liked haircare brand on TikTok, with over 320,000 followers and more than 14 million likes. The brand is estimated to sell an average of 12,000 bottles a day (8 per minute). If sales continue on this trajectory, Monday will become quarter-of-a-billion dollar brand by the end of the year.

Jaimee Lupton, Founder of Monday Haircare, commented: "Our North star is to be a modern day L'Oréal, creating brands for tomorrow's customers based on what they want now and how they like to shop. Monday Haircare has had unprecedented success around the world since launching in 2020.

"We are really excited to see where we can take not only the Monday brand, but the pipeline beauty and personal care brands we have in development. There is so much more to come, with the US being a major focus."
