Natalie Massenet’s life of luxury is just a little far-fetched

Last September, a tech start-up from east London took over the New York Stock Exchange. Farfetch’s founder José Neves beamed as he rang the opening bell to celebrate the float of the online luxury marketplace he runs from industrial-chic offices next to Old Street roundabout.
Outside the exchange’s entrance on Wall Street, Farfetch’s co-chairman Natalie Massenet, the doyenne of online fashion, watched the building’s imposing facade disappear as a team of workers hoisted a black banner emblazoned with the company’s logo.
